We are hoping to grow!
In 2025, the Compass Ministry was able to provide over $80,000 in assistance to our Wawasee community
with your help.
2026 is setting out to provide even more financial assistance to our neighbors in need.
We need your help to grow!
The Syracuse-Wawasee Ministerial Association along with Compass and the Compass Thrift Store are activiely working on growing!
Compass Thrift Store has outgrown its current space and needs a larger facility to expand its impact within the community.
A larger location would allow us to increase revenue by offering a greater variety of merchandise, including appliances and select furniture—items that are currently not available
in our current space.
Beyond increasing our retail capacity for the Compass Thrift Store, a larger facility would enable Compass to better serve our community in meaningful ways. We envision creating dedicated space for community meetings, educational
classes, support groups, and other outreach services. Expanding our footprint will not only strengthen the financial sustainability of our mission but also provide new opportunities to connect with and support the people we serve.

Growing our store means investing in the tools and furnishings needed to better serve our customers and community. Additional clothing racks, shelving, checkout counters, tables, chairs, and comfortable seating will help us create an organized, inviting space that enhances the shopping experience and supports community gatherings and programs.
By receiving these items as donations or sponsored items, we can direct more of our financial resources toward our mission of serving and supporting our neighbors in need.
